Wa alaikumus salaam... The Fuqahaa said up to one dirham is tolerated. And above one dirham it is not tolerated. It is the one dirham that has been estimated to the radius of 2.5 cm by our Ulama. Infact at the time of Nabi (Sallallaahu alaihi wasallam) they used to make istinjaa with pebbles which do not eradicate the najaasat completely from the place of istinjaa. It is the place of istinjaa that has been estimated to a dirham.
