How can a barren wife get talaaq so that the man can be free to marry again and form a family to have children?

Answer

Talaaq is in the hands of the husband. The wife will get it when the husband will give it. There is no necessity to give talaaq if the wife is barren, the husband has the right to marry a second wife without giving the first one talaaq if he can afford it financially.
