If i gave my word to somebody that i will do a certain work at a prescribe time and then after my parents command me to do another work at the same time. To whom shoul i give priority?
My given word or be obedient to my parents?

Answer

Assalaamu alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakaatuh

A muslim has to respect his commitments. In the same manner he has to be obedient to his parents. Hence, one solution is to come to a compromise with your parents or the person. In this way you will not be sinful.
