The Virtues of Surah Yaa-Sin

Hazrat A'taa Ibn-e-Abi Rabaah (Radiyallahu anhu) reported that Rasulullah (Sallallaahu A'laihi Wasallam) said: "Whoever recites Surah Yaa-Sin at dawn will find the needs of the day fulfilled." (Daarimî)

In a Hadith it is reported that everything has a heart and the heart of the Qur'aan Sharif is Surah Yaa-Sin. Whoever recites Surah Yaa-Sin, Allah Ta'aala will grant him reward equal to ten times the recitation of the whole Qur'aan.

In another Hadith it is said: "Whoever recites Surah Yaa-Sin only for the pleasure of Allah, will have all his previous sins forgiven."

It is said that if someone recites Surah Yaa-Sin every night and dies, he will attain the death of a martyr.

According to a Hadith, it is said that if someone reads Surah Yaa-Sin and Surah Was-Saffaat on a Friday and implore unto Allah, then his invocation (Dou'aa) will be answered.
