False hope

Those who want to repent from their sins must not give up hope. Allah Ta'ala is the Great Forgiver. One just has to ask Allah Ta'ala for forgiveness. Allah Ta'ala will rectify everything.

But a person must not be encouraged to commit sin due to the fact that Allah Ta'ala is the Great Forgiver. Abusing kindness is never a good trait of character. An intelligent person does not drink poison with the hope of taking antidote. Likewise, a wise and intelligent person does not commit sins with the hope that he will be pardoned by making Taubah. Life is not in our hands. Who knows, perhaps you might not get time to make Taubah ? Furthermore, Taubah does not mean merely to say Taubah-Taubah with the tongue. One must have regret and remorse in the heart and make a firm determination not to do it again in future in order for the Taubah to be accepted. A person who commits a sin with the hope that he will make Taubah afterwards, may not get the chance and the Taufeeq to regret when he makes Taubah. It is stupid people having pride who play with their lives in this manner. How should we call someone who plays with his Deen and his Aakhirah when we know that this is more important than the life in Dunya? It is false hope. Stop living in the dark. After taking poison, you wish to drink an antidote! Do you think you will have time?
