Simplicity in marriage

Hazrat Abdour Rahmaan Bin Auf (Radiyallahu Anhu) had married but he had not even informed Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam). It was only afterwards that Nabi (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam) came to know. Similarly, Hazrat Jabir Bin Abdullah (Radiyallahu Anhu) had married and he did not invite Nabi (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam). On his side, Nabi (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam) also was not angry. This gives us an idea of ​​the simplicity in which the Sahabah-e-Kiraam (Radiyallahu Anhum) were performing their Nikah to the extent that they did not invite Nabi (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam) also. Yet there was no-one more beloved to them than Nabi (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam). This is something that every Muslim must consider before making extravagance in marriage, which, besides harming oneself, has no other benefit.
