Difficulty in Deen

The more valuable something is , the more difficulty one encounters in acquiring it. The most valuable thing for a person is his Imaan and his Deen. That's why it is quite normal that he will encounter enormous difficulties to preserve his Imaan and his Deen. However, difficulties in Deen is comparable to the difficulty one experiences in consuming a very strong chilli which makes the nose run, the mouth inflamed and the eyes filled with tears. However, this does not prevent one from continuing to eat chilli.

In the same way, a person in Deen does not stop practicing Deen due to some difficulty that he encounters. On the contrary, sometimes he feels an extraordinary joy in his heart when he knows that he is undergoing all that for the sake of his true beloved, Allah Ta'ala. Whatever a person can accept to bear for the sake of something that he loves, a true Deendaar can accept much more out of love for Allah Ta'ala.

The difficulties of the Dunya are for a very short span of time compared to the eternal life that a person must live in the Aakhirah. It is this firm conviction that makes the difficulties in the Dunya become easy. But one must always ask Allah Ta'ala for ease and well-being.
