Al-Mouswawwir

Al-Mouswawwir means/refers to the One who has given each creature its form, its dimension and its colour. For example, a human may be classified into different categories in regards to language, colour, physiognomy, dimension, mentality, intelligence, etc. Likewise, all the species that are found in the sea, on land and in space, Allah Ta'ala Himself has created. It is Him who has given each one its form, its dimension, its colour and all the qualities that everything possess. According to Allaamah Qushairi (Rahmatullaahi alayh) and the 'Ulama in general, when people believe from the bottom of their heart that everything existed in the form that they are by the capacity of Allah Ta'ala, then they will never be proud of the blessings and favours that they have. They will always be humble because they know that whatever they have become, was through the grace of Allah Ta'ala. They will never underestimate anyone for any of his shortcomings because whatever he has achieved, has been granted by Allah Ta'ala. He did not acquire it by himself. If he knows how to see, he will see the Qudrat (ability) of Allah Ta'ala in everything. He will be fascinated and amazed by the greatness of Allah Ta'ala. In the long run, this will make him become an Aashiq of Allah Ta'ala. Once 'Ishq-e-Ilaahi enters the heart, everything becomes tasteless. Everything becomes secondary. Allah Ta'ala becomes his sole goal.
