The incontestable and the irreparable

There is none worthy of worship except the one being whom one knows as Allah Ta'ala. It is a reality that has been preached by all the prophets. In addition, the mission of all the prophets is focused and concentrated on this in order to make the entire humanity perceive this reality.

A prophet is the elite of the society and he is a person who surpasses everyone in all merits and virtues. Thus, it is a reality that was preached by excellent, incomparable and superb individuals of all times. This makes this truth incontestable. The person who contests this truth commits the most serious sin that exist which is known as Kufr and the person becomes Kaafir.

This truth can be contested by not believing in the Supreme Being just as this can occur by associating others in the power and capacity of Allah Ta'ala.

It is good to know that it is not necessary for a person to refuse everything that there is in Qur'aan to become a Kaafir. He can become Kaafir by refusing to accept a part of it also. For example, a person who does not accept our Nabi (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam) as the last Nabi, becomes Kaafir. Likewise, those who put blame on the Sahaabah or accuse our mother, Hazrat 'Aisha (Radiyallaahu Anha) become Kaafir. Their Ibaadah will not make them Muslim as long as they do not make Taubah.

A person who passes away in contesting the incontestable commits the irreparable. That is, this sin cannot mended. A person who passes away in such a state will enter Jahannam forever. There is no forgiveness for this sin. Thus, there is no mending for this sin if a person passes away on this without making Taubah.
