Al Hakam

Al-Hakam is the one whose decision is final. It is a decision that none can prevent from being materialised. There is no one besides Allah Ta'ala who has such ability. On the other hand, anything that an Insaan does and achieves is like a cloud in the sky which constantly changes form and which finally disintegrates and disappears completely. We have factors such as cyclone, earthquake, storm, tornado, sun, rain, wind, tsunami, cold, heat, disease, epidemic, drought, flood etc. that can prevent our decision from materialising or that can annihilate in a blink of an eye everything which took years to be materialised. It is only the decision of Allah Ta'ala that is beyond everything and is not influenced by anything. There is nothing that can change or evade the decision of Allah Ta'ala. The Kuffar wanted to burn Hazrat Ibrahim (Alaihis Salam) and they have put him in a big fire but their efforts failed because Allah Ta'ala decided to protect Hazrat Ibrahim (Alaihis Salam). Thus, Hazrat Ibrahim (Alaihis Salam) came out safe and sound. On the contrary, he was in greater comfort in the fire than outside. Pharaoh had ordered his army to kill all the baby boys who were born but Allah Ta'ala protected Hazrat Musa (Alaihis Salam) and made it such that Pharaoh himself brought him up in his palace. Likewise, Allah Ta'ala has always protected his privileged servants in all epochs and this will continue till Qiyaamah. No one will be able to extinguish a fire that Allah Ta'ala has lit. The decisions of Allah Ta'ala runs its course.

"And if Allah puts you in a difficulty, none can remove it besides Him. And if He has decided to give you a certain favour, none can prevent his grace... "(S10:V107)
