... He was working well...

He was working well and was looking after his wife and children well. Suddenly, we do not know what happened. He began to befriend people who are prone to the vice of horse racing. But alas, now everything has changed. All his money is being wastted in casinos and horse racing. He cannot pay the rent anymore. Electricity, water and telephone bills are all piling up. Nothing is being paid. He cannot provide for his family nor pay rent. The jewels of his wife have also been sold. He started loaning money from people without repaying. People are looking for him everywhere! Now he has also started stealing because of his vice. Finally, he was sent to prison. His wife left him and went with another man and his children have been abandoned. All this has happened because of this impurity called "gambling". Qur'an Kareem calls it "Maisir" and qualifies it as an impurity. This is not an exaggeration. Without exaggerating, this is something that is happening throughout our society. And the greatest victims are the wife and children. How many marriages have been broken? How many people have committed suicide? How many are homeless? How many lives of children have been destroyed? All this has happened because of these horse racing games and casinos. People blame Islam claiming that it does not give freedom to woman. Do you believe that such impurity has granted paradise to women for it to still exist and for it to take on the scale day by day? These are means to acquire money easily. It is a stupid way of distributing the wealth of a country which belongs to the mass in general to fill the pocket of few people. Nevertheless, it is not an honour to an honourable human worthy of this name to take enjoyment from the corpse of his fellow human being.

A true Insaan cannot wish the misfortune of his friend to enrich himself. He cannot seek his happiness by ruining the future of innocent children. He cannot live in a castle by making his fellow human being miserable and homeless. This is not an Insaan. It is some other creature with the mentality of another creature in the form of Insaan.
