Al Khabeer

Al Khabeer means one who has all the information. There is no information that he is not aware of. There is only one being who has this and it is Allah Ta'ala.

Allah Ta'ala knows all that which the earth and the sky contain. Allah Ta'ala has knowledge of each atom in the universe. Allah Ta'ala has all information concerning each atom.

Thus it is Allah Ta'ala who knows the most appropriate way to live in this world. In His capacity as Al-Khabeer, He advises and instructs us on how to live on earth. He warned us of things which are bad for our well-being. The whole of this advice and this warning is the Deen which is represented by the book of Allah Ta'ala, the Qur'an-e-Kareem and the Mubarak Sunnah of Nabi (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam). Life without Deen is like heeding to the advice of an amateur and rejecting the advice of a professional or an expert in the field. Firm and sincere belief in the attribute of Al-Khabeer leads us to accept and follow what has been advocated and recommended by the Qur'an and Sunnah. It is a belief that renders us a little more conscious of our activities because Allah Ta'ala in His capacity as Al-Khabeer, is fully aware of everything we do. Can a person who has modesty do anything which is blameworthy if he knows that people are watching him? How can a person sin when he knows that Allah Ta'ala is looking at him? Generally, there must be some weakness and lack of belief concerning the attribute of Al-Khabeer of Allah Ta'ala. If only we encouraged the development of the belief that Allah Ta'ala is Al-Khabeer who knows all that we do, then that would dispense us of many departments which we have instituted to safeguard security and peace. The conscience of the person would have sufficed to monitor and keep him under control in a more efficient way. There would have been no need for police or secret agents for that purpose.
