Connection with Allah Ta'ala

Connection with one whom you love is really a source of extraordinary joy. Everyone wants to achieve such a connection. Without hesitation, one can incur huge expenses to achieve that goal. Often you may read newspaper adverts which offer one to meet some stars in person or to stand with them on the same platform. Without doubt, this offer is not for free. It is a chargeable offer that has to be paid and which is in the range of Rs. 10,000 / - to Rs. 25,000 / - per person. This is a fairly high and substantial sum. But this isn’t reason enough for people not to proceed. People pay without hesitation to such an extent that the tickets are sold out but the demand continues. And after having paid such a high price, one does not have any regret. On the contrary, one considers this show as a golden opportunity to meet ones heros. Whatever may be catching one's admiration in one's beloved has been created by Allah Ta'ala. We can become anything through our performance, talent and personality but we should not forget that whatever our condition may be, we remain the greatest beggar in front of Allah Ta'ala. We live entirely at the mercy and generosity of Allah who is Rabb-ul-Aalameen. If this beggar is being able to attract and invade the hearts and minds of thousands and thousands, then one can get an idea of ​​what can happen to a person who gets a glimpse of the greatness of Allah Ta'ala!!! Allah Ta'ala Himself is the source of all that can amaze us in terms of beauty, wealth, talent etc. How much more amazing is Allah Ta'ala Himself!!!

We discern the beauty of something by looking at it with our physical eyes. And this is called بصارة (Baswaarah). Everyone possesses this and this allows them to admire anything beautiful. That is why everyone tends to be dazzled and amazed by a sheer beauty. But most of us lack the faculty called بصيرة (Basweerah). That is, “insight” which refers to the spiritual eyes found in the heart. The ability to appreciate the beauty, value and benefit of the practices of Deen depends on this insight (بصيرة). It is this same بصيرة that allows us to feel the greatness of Allah Ta'ala. Since one is blind in this aspect, one pursues things that are attractive without realising the greatness of Allah Ta'ala. Therefore, it becomes difficult to connect with Allah Ta'ala.

Therefore, it is very essential and even indispensable to develop our 'Basweerah' which is found inside us. And in principle, this is developed by staying in the company of a Sheikh Kaamil.

What may a person feel by having a connection with Allah Ta'ala???

The sense of well-being and satisfaction that a person feels while staying in the company of a very beloved one, can ultimately give an idea of ​​what can be felt by establishing a connection with Allah Ta'ala. It is merely an idea, otherwise in principle this connection is incomparable and unequal and necessitates living it to understand it. If all beauties and talents concentrate on only one object, then too, this will not represent anything in front of Allah Ta'ala. And connection with Allah Ta'ala will exceed all that can be enclosed in that object.
