Stop living in Haraam!
If a person has given his wife all the three Talaaq at once, he does not have the right to continue living with her. Continuing to live with her is living in Haraam. If death overtakes him in this state, it means that he is dying in a state where he was living in Haraam. Similarly, if a husband gave his wife the three Talaaq, she must not return to him, otherwise she will be living in Haraam forever.
People can say that three Talaaq counts as one. One must tell them that they do not have more knowledge than Hazrat Umar (Radiyallahu Anhu) and the Sahaabah-e-Kiraam (Radiyallahu Anhum) in general, who gave the verdict that three Talaaq counts as three. They will try to attack one by saying that during the time of Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam), three Talaaq counted as one. If one has to choose between Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam) and Hazrat Umar (Radiyallahu Anhu), one must consider the verdict that was given in the time of Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam).
One can answer them and say that we must follow Nabi (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam). However, it is not true that three Talaaq counted as one during the time of Nabi (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam). If they have understood it that way, they have misunderstood it and they must pursue their studies and research.
Secondly, one has the right to ask them if they understand the Deen and the teaching of Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam) better than Hazrat Umar (Radiyallahu Anhu) and the Sahabah-e-Kiraam (Radiyallahu Anhum). Do they or Hazrat Umar (Radiyallahu Anhu) and the Sahabah-e-Kiraam (Radiyallahu Anhum) who lived with Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam) know better how it was during the time of Nabi (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam) after 1400 years? There is no need for their reply in order to know the truth. This amount is sufficient to clarify the point. But those who have taken an oath to follow Allaamah Bin Taimiyyah blindly in regards to everything that he says, will always keep their promise, even if it goes against all the Sahabah-e-Kiraam (Radiyallahu Anhum) and the whole Ummah. The problem lies in "not knowing", "pretending not to know", "persisting in not knowing" or "following the blind blindly".
