Deen Al-Islam

If religion is secondary in the life of some people, this is not the case for a Muslim. Deen has priority over everything for a Muslim. It is in accordance to his Deen that he organises his life. He adapts his activities based on Deen in all fields of life. The Deen controls even his most intimate relationship with his wife and his deepest and most sensitive feelings. The verdict is "clear-cut" for a Muslim. Let's say that he cannot prevent himself from being attracted to a person because this is not in his control but he does not allow himself to be carried away by it. He must sacrifice himself, his desires and his feelings for the pleasure of His Rabb because His Rabb and his Deen come first.
