Independence

Our country has been celebrating Independence Day every year, for more than a quarter of a century. However, what is this independence that our country has been celebrating for years? Our country was under the control of other countries. We were dependent on others. Our country was liberated and we had the honour of making our own decision for our future. This is called independence of our country that is celebrated every year.

The country has got independence but we are still subject to slavery because we have not yet been freed from viruses such as selfishness, jealousy, rancour/grudge, pride, boasting, injustice, etc. We are still in the grip of Shaitan. We do not yet know how to serve the next person. It is true that we do not know as yet how to live like humans with human beings. This leads us to say that the independence that we got is merely an aspect of independence. It is not a complete independence. There is still much to be done in order for this independence to be complete. Nevertheless, we are satisfied with what we have. However, this does not prevent us from progressing further and trying our best to perfect what we have acquired.

We will perfect it by freeing and liberating ourselves of the illnesses that are found within us that have destroyed humanity from generation to generation. It is a challenge that our leaders must face if they sincerely have the willpower to give the word independence its true dimension and real value. Otherwise, our country will always be like a beautiful corpse with a totally deteriorated interior.
