Concealing the shortcomings of a Muslim

"... Whoever conceals the shortcomings of a Muslim, Allah (Ta’ala) will conceal his shortcomings in Dunya and Aakhirah ..."

Note: In principle, it is not permissible to disclose the sin of a Muslim. We should conceal his shortcoming. However, if by concealing this shortcoming, the interest of another person is threatened, the person concerned must be warned so that he can take his precautions. In this case, it is not prohibited. On the contrary, it is our duty to disclose it.
