The best way to give Talaaq

One should never give one’s wife the three Talaaq all at once. If the situation requires giving her Talaaq, then only one Talaaq should be given when she is in her period of purity, in which no intimacy took place. She should then do her iddat of three Haiz.  No further Talaaq besides this should be given. If the couple has decided not to live together anymore, only one Talaaq suffices to separate them and give each one their freedom.
