GOOD MANNERS
Yawning is an act that comes from Shaitan (Satan). It is not recommended to open your mouth wide when yawning.
When you feel like yawning, you should try to hold it in as much as possible. Moreover, if you can't restrain it, place your hand over your mouth while yawning.
Rasulullah (Sallallaahu A'laihi Wasallam) said:
"Yawning comes from Shaitan (devil), when one of you feels like yawning, let him restrain himself as much as he can because if one of you says 'Aah' (yawning), the devil laughs." (Bukhari)
Lesson: The moment we learn that an action is caused by the devil (Shaitan) we must try our best to avoid it.
We must follow the instructions of our beloved Prophet (Sallallaahu A'laihi Wasallam) in order to acquire good manners.
