THE "FRIENDLY" MAJORETTES?

Indecency is one of the many calamities that plague our society - society which, let us say it frankly, is sinking more and more into decadence. We note that in so-called national parties or others, a large place is often reserved for what is called the "show" of the majorettes. Thousands of people enjoy this "show" without embarrassment. Some, especially youngsters, even undertake a journey just to admire these young girls who, it is said, are parading.

Obviously, this indecent and immoral practice is strictly forbidden in Islam because it attracts the wrath of Allah Ta'ala.

There are a thousand and one ways to express patriotism. Practicing indecency does not honour a country. The history of our ancestors shows that it was the veil, the "Hijaab" and the "ghoungat", among others, which were part of the customs. This is in order to preserve morality and modesty. Unfortunately, nowadays, it is indecency and immorality that have invaded our society.

Honesty, morality and respect for others are the qualities that are naturally found in a true patriot. He (a true patriot) is neither dishonest nor immoral and knows how to respect others. For him, expressing patriotism at the expense of women's dignity is inconceivable. Paradoxically, it is the partisans of indecency who today proclaim themselves the 'defenders' of women's rights.

To conclude, let us simply say that a true patriot will never condone the indecency that majorettes represent. In truth, patriotic feelings cannot be expressed by violating divine law.
