SOME DU'A TO ACQUIRE BENEFICIAL 'ILM

رَبِّ زِدْنِيْ عِلْمًا

 (My Lord, increase my knowledge!)

اَللّٰهُمَّ انْفَعْنِيْ بِمَا عَلَّمْتَنِيْ وَعَلِّمْنِيْ مَا يَنْفَعُنِيْ وَارْزُقْنِيْ عِلْمًا يَنْفَعُنِيْ

 (O Allah! Make me benefit from what You have taught me and teach me what will benefit me and give me that knowledge which will be beneficial to me.)

اَللّٰهُمَّ إِنِّيْ أَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنْ قَلْبٍ لاَ يَخْشَعُ، وَنَفْسٍ لاَّ تَشْبَعُ، وَعِلْمٍ لاَ يَنْفَعُ، وَدَعْوَةٍ لَّا يُسْتَجَابُ لَهَا

 (O Allah! I seek refuge in You from a heart that does not fear You, from an insatiable nafs, from knowledge that is without benefit and from a prayer (Du'a) that is not heard).
