Lack of modesty

A person must be modest but he must not feel shy to do good deeds. For example, he must not feel shy to perform Salah when the time of Salah comes in merely because people are watching him. He must not bother about others and he must perform his Salah.

He must feel shy to commit bad deeds. Real 'Haya' or real shame is the feeling of hesitation that makes a person abstain and refrain from activities and practices that Allah Ta’ala does not like.

For example, a person must cover his body and he must not expose the part that should be hidden. Nowadays, it is very unfortunate to notice that people feel proud to expose their bodies and feel shy to cover it. This allows us to say that a turn of 180 degrees occurred to the mentality of people. This is the state and level that a Muslim reached. Otherwise, in general, humanity has abandoned the summit of nobility and descended to the bestial level. People who follow the news will confirm this truth without hesitation.

In a Hadith, Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam) said:

"When you do not have modesty, then you may do whatever you want."
