- APPLICATION FOR HALAL CERTIFICATE
In order to get peace...
In life, one has to follow someone. One cannot say that one did not follow anyone in whatever one does. One's style, haircut and appearance, all emanates from imitating someone. Do you not think that you made a big mistake in choosing your 'ideal'? In all fields, people love the best. Are you satisfied with your lifestyle? We will agree that those who we follow and take as our 'ideal' in life do not have Deen in them. It is definitely a big mistake on our side to leave the best in order to content ourselves with that which is not good at all. It is sad to discern that nowadays our behaviour is modelled on those who are shameless. What can a person expect by following those who are shameless other than ending up being shameless like them. This is because a person does not follow another without having appreciation and admiration for him. Admiration for a person makes one consider whatever he does as good and appreciable even if in reality the thing being committed is unworthy and immoral. One tends to imitate him until one finally becomes like him. Intelligent people choose the best. He follows the best model. He follows the best Insaan. Who is the greatest Insaan? The best Insaan is our Habeeb (beloved) and the Habeeb-e-Khuda (the beloved of Allah Ta'ala), Sayyiduna Muhammad (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam). As a Muslim one cannot pretend otherwise one’s Imaan will be lost. Allah Ta'ala presented Nabi (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam) as Uswah Hasanah, that is, the best model. A model is something to be followed and imitated. Thus, Allah Ta'ala sent Nabi (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam) for us to follow him and imitate him in our whole life. Is it not hypocrisy to pretend to love Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam) but to imitate someone else? What kind of love is this where one does not have appreciation and admiration for him! And if one has admiration, then how can one allow oneself to follow another!
Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam) is the greatest and the best Insaan. He is the best creature and he is the best of the creation. There is no way to become a true Insaan apart from following this greatest Insaan. Otherwise, there is no real Insaaniyat (humanity) in imitating someone other than him. There should be ‘Insaan’ on earth in order to have peace. And this is found in following this greatest Insaan.
