Why did Muslims become like a toy in the hand of others?

If Muslims are facing several problems in the world, it is not because they do not have the means to fight their opponent. Because never in history did Muslims get victory through material force. They have always gained victory through the help of Allah Ta’ala. The help of Allah Ta’ala descends on those who practice the Deen and remain in His obedience. Allah Ta’ala loves those who follow His Nabi (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam). There is neither Deen nor help from Allah Ta’ala without following Nabi (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam). As long as the Muslims practiced the Deen, obeyed Allah Ta’ala and followed Nabi (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam), Allah Ta’ala helped them and they continued to gain victory. But when the Muslims neglected their Deen, forgot Allah Ta’ala and neglected the Sunnah of Nabi (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam), they suffered loss everywhere. Thus, our success lies in Deen. Hazrat Umar (Radiyallahu Anhu) said:

"We were a lowly people whom Allah Ta’ala has granted prestige through Islam. If we seek prestige through another means, Allah Ta’ala will denigrate us."

Thus, real prestige is found in Deen but we should not practice Deen to have prestige or honour. We should practice Deen for the pleasure of Allah Ta’ala.
