The path of Allah

The path of Allah is the path of Hidaayah. The other paths besides the path of Allah are the ways of perdition and misguidance.

The path of Allah is acquired by following the method and the Tareeqah of Nabi Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam and the 'Ulama are required to know and understand it. The 'Ulama are the real heirs of Nabi Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam. The mission of Nabi Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam was to guide us to the path of Allah Ta'ala. After Nabi Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam, this mission and this responsibility rest on the shoulders of the 'Ulama-e-Kiraam.

The general public must follow the 'Ulama to get this path, otherwise they will be deviated. The attitude of turning the back on the 'Ulama emanates from an imbalance in Deen. Being allergic to the 'Ulama is not a good sign. We should not think that to know the Deen, we are not in need of the 'Ulama. This is arather satanic inspiration.

It is true that not all 'Ulama are good. But it is equally true that not all 'Ulama are bad either. In all fields, there are the good and the bad ones yet we seek the good ones. In the same way, we should seek the good 'Aalim. A good 'Aalim is someone who learned Deen in a professional way with the professionals of Deen. In addition to that, he should not be thirsty for honour nor should he run behind the Dunya. He should render his verdicts according to the Shariah impartially. A good 'Aalim does not mean someone who accepts everything that you tell him. He has a principle based on the Shariah and he strictly follows this principle. A real 'Aalim is someone who has the courage to implement the principle of Deen even if it makes him unpopular because his goal is to please Allah Ta'ala. He does not make concessions to receive a favour or a service from someone.
