Akhlaaq-Tasawwuf

Being pretentious

Allah, you do not fear

Yet, He is your Creator

You continue to be pretentious

Yes, know my brother that soon

You will be underground!

[English version of "Faire faiseur" – Al Jamiat – Vol.1 No. 2]

"Reduced to soil"

Be careful! Where you are standing, the tongue of a person may be under your feet. Yes, the tongue of a person which has been transformed into soil today. A tongue which was speaking all types of nonsense and today it is under your feet. Who knows under whose feet you will be tomorrow!

Why are you boasting when you have been created from soil and tomorrow you will be underground again to be reduced to soil?

"It is He who created you from sand ..." (40:67)

Living for the sake of Allah Ta’ala

"The one who loves for the sake of Allah, hates for the sake of Allah, gives for the sake of Allah and withholds for the sake of Allah, has perfected his Imaan." (Abu Dawud)

In the light of this Hadith, a perfect Imaan lies in doing everything solely for the pleasure of Allah Ta’ala. A perfect Muslim is motivated to please Allah Ta’ala in all his actions with the intention of pleasing Allah Ta’ala as true Imaan is to live for Allah Ta’ala and die for Him.

Loving Allah Ta’ala

Every Muslim must love Allah Ta’ala. Without loving Allah Ta’ala, there is no Imaan. To love Allah Ta’ala means to lead one’s life in accordance to what He wants and not what one wants and to refrain from what He does not love.

Let's make a little Muraaqabah (Meditation)

What is in existence today was inexistent yesterday and what will be in existence tomorrow, is inexistent today. Everything changes. Nothing remains as it is. What is stable is instability. We will also not remain the same all the time. Let's set a target of 100 years after. That is, in the year 2101, we are more certain that every living creature that is present on earth will be underground. Few survivors may still exist on earth just as a reminder for us - "Once upon a time".

The desire to become good

It requires some courage and some willpower to control ourselves or at least to curb our desire to commit sins. Firstly, we must change our environment. Abstain from the company of those who encourage us to do evil. Remain in the company of the pious who will be a source of encouragement to remain firm on Deen.

Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihi wa salam) said:

AL JIHAAD

Jihaad is a combat by all means against injustice in all its forms.

Jihaad is life.

Jihaad is a means of allowing man to enjoy freedom in legality and fraternity.

Jihaad is the liberation of man from slavery of mankind to the submission of the Supreme Creator.
